If you want to pay a security deposit , you will need to provide the equivalent of five week’s rent. We use DPS for this. More information about them can be found at DPS: here  Tenant Referencing (a snapshot) Some or all of the following documents may be requested: References from previous landlords Credit check details Bank details (bank name, account number, and sort code) Details of employment (employer, job title, salary, payslips, and P60) For self-employed applicants: Tax calculations & tax overviews for at least 2 years MOVING IN & TENANCY SET UP Once a move-in date is agreed, we will progress your tenancy set up at the advertised rent. Tenants will be provided with a written statement of terms prior to the start of the tenancy. Holding Deposit Policy: Any holding deposit paid is subject to a 15-day deadline for agreement and will be fully refunded in accordance with Schedule 2 of the Tenant Fees Act 2019 unless specific statutory grounds for forfeiture apply. Utilities: We instruct our preferred utility management service to notify local authorities and utility providers of occupancy changes on our behalf. You remain free to choose your preferred energy supplier at any time. We handle all required documentation and liaise with relevant parties to ensure a smooth transition.  |
